I noticed a couple of days back that two of the fittings on my DK45SE's FEL are leaking a bit. It would drip every 5-10 minutes during constant loader usage.
When I was done I wiped it down and put a wrench to the fittings. They were tight.
Whats the next step in trying to fix this?

Is it the QD's leaking, or the threaded fittings? If it's threaded fittings, we need to know what type of fittings(NPT,ORB, JIC, ect.) they are before we can suggest a fix-can you post a picture?

I've noticed that at least one of my KL401 fittings also has a slow leak where the solid tube connects to the hose on the FEL arm. Just enough of a leak that dust creates a greasy mess right where the fittings are. I've also checked tightness which seems fine. At this point I have just degreased the area and cleaned it so I can watch to see which fitting is leaking. I think I will simply undo that connecter, inspect and retighten as a first step.

There is no leak visible from the operator station when operating the FEL and no leak detectable on inspection when the engine is off but there is a load in the bucket (elevated). I'm thinking that my leak must only occur at max pressure when I am putting a lot of load on the bucket/grapple and that is hard to duplicate while (safely) troubleshooting.

I will get a pic posted up when I am home.
That describes my leak pretty well. Just enough to make a mess at the fittings.

I have a Kioti 45 horse diesel tractor. I was putting a lot of pressure on the bucket today as I was scrapping down a hill to make a flat road to drive on. All of a sudden I noticed hydraulic fluid leaking/squirting out of a hydraulic line near a fitting on the right front side of the bucket arm. I checked the fittings and the seem tight. I tried to use the post hole digger and the PTO did not work at all. Should I try to tighten the fittings further, or what? I guess I'll need to but a 5 gal. can of hydraulic fluid tomorrow after Church, but should I unscrew the fittings before adding fluid - and maybe put some plumbers tale on them ? Loganberry...

Did you get your leak fixed ? What did you do ? I have the same Kioti 45 HP tractor. I also have a leak in a bucket line, on the front right lift arm. I need advise. Loganberry.

My Ag fittings leak at the QD all the time. I kind of wish I had standardized on a different fitting. Too many tractors to retrofit now.

A little leak with extreme use is not necessarily an indication of trouble.
