Can anyone tell me what the best quality fel for the price is for a tc40da?

I'm a firm believer in the New Holland 16LA loader for your 40DA. It was designed for the tractor and has some really nice features like easy on and easy off, and curved loader arms for increased visibility. It will handle about 2000 pounds. Why settle for anything less if you don't have to?

I second Pineridge only to add that the factory delux joystick is super comfortable & convenient as it's mounted on the fender just under your right hand. The delux has buttons allowing an easy swap between turtle/rabbit.

Some people like Woods loaders. I've never had one, so I can't say. Consider that the 16LA is perfectly sized for your tractor and the front axle. It's full lift capability should never overstress the front axle, but I can't say that for the Woods or other brands that exceed the NH specs. I also think at resale/trade-in time, the 16LA will have the most value.

I'd look for dealers with different loaders and try them. Then, pick the one you like best.
