When I bought my 6000 (2wd), it had a FEL on it that I convinced myself I didn't need and had it removed.

Now, I've determined that I do need a FEL!

Dealer is willing to redo the paperwork and include the FEL in my 36 month/0% contract, I just have to pay the difference on the payment I already paid. Subsequent payments will have the FEL factored in.

My question is, he has a KMW ML260 in stock for my tractor or I can have him order a Great Bend. Price is same on both.

What are the differences?

Anyone have pics of both mounted?

What are the differences in how they mount?

Which is stronger?

Thanks!!
Chuck

Not sure how to answer your questions as I only have the KMW Md 264 on my 6000 4wd. Can't compare the two. The KMW has done well and all I've asked of it. I have'nt been easy on it as some of the first work I did with it was move over 700 yards of fill dirt from a friend's back yard (the dirt/rocks came out of where his basement was dug. Strong lifter. I put a HD toothbar on it about a month ago and its quite the beast now. BobG in VA

Thanks for the reply Bob.

After looking at pics of both they both seem to be good loaders. I'll go with the KMW since it's already at the dealer's. In fact, he tells me it's the one that was on my tractor to begin with!!

Thanks again!!

I got the KMW ML260. It has held up very well. I mainly just move brush, manure piles, etc. I think I might need a toothbar to really be able to scoop stuff up the way I want to.

Thanks Charlie,

That's the one I decided on also.

By looking at them both, it appears the KMW is built slightly heavier and I just like the looks of it better. I also think the mounts are not as obtrusive when the loader is not on the tractor.

On a side note, when I dropped off my tractor at the dealership today for the FEL install, I looked at an Atlas 7' box blade. Dealer shot me a price of $385 for it and it appears to be well built. Told me that was his cost and I could have it for that since I've purchased the tractor and loader there.

Anyone have any experience with these?

Thanks For the replies!!

The price sounds good.

I got a price on a Woods 6 foot box scraper from the dealer I bought my tractor from and he wanted $750.00.

Needless to say I didn't buy it
