FEL is slow..and loosing power.

I have noticed lately that the front end loader on my L2900 is moving slower and does not seem to have as must lifting strength as it used to. Any ideas what might cause this? Is there filter somewhere that might be clogged? The FEL is a kubota....not sure of the model...but I think it is a 480...

Any help is greatly appreciated.

You low on hydro fluid? I'd check that first.

The only time I had this problem there was a hyro fluid leak at the rear remote and the level was low. Check the level. If normal, start looking for leaks in the FEL lines.

Fluid level is good, no leaks, and the owner's manual does not offer any troubleshooting. I am hoping it is just the hydraulic system filter...if not then my fear is the hydraulic pump itself...but I only have 200 hrs on this tractor...would you think a pump would go bad that quickly.

Today I tried to lift about 75lbs with the FEL and it would not do it with the engine at idle.....the just does not seem right to me...I know it would lift it before....if I bring the RPMs up then it lifted it ok.

at idle my bx2350 can barely lift the FEL empty.. has since new and only @ 45hrs now.

I bump a little above idle (till warms up) and lifts FEL and MMM just fine..

problem I've had is using my PHD boom for lifting/moving objects around the yard it'll stall out way too early IMO.

I noticed if the MMM lever was down or up by mistake that the fluid was trying to do too many things and my FEL wouldn't life. Any chance something else is not in neutral?
