FEL Loader with Qwik Attach problem/alert

Bought a new Grand L3430 with 513? Fel (waiting on the 723 to come in and be installed) and qwik attach...

Within the first 15 minutes, had bent one of the cylinders, called the dealer, was told it was probably operator error...

I've run loader/tractors for many years, I didn't think so, dealer paid for the new cylinder (Kubota wouldn't warranty it!) and continued on.

Friday, I was regrading the drive on the new addition to the bike shop, and noticed I had bent both cylinders on the loader, a buddy driving by stopped and over a couple "brews" we noticed that the stops on the bucket don't meet up with the stops on the loader arm when it is curled all the way in the carry or dump position, the only thing stopping the bucket is the cylinders hitting the arms on the FEL, or themselves, causint them to bend...called the dealer and he came by yesterday...going to take the whole thing into the shop Monday and check it over to see what is going on.

Anybody else with this setup would be advised to check and see if this is happening to them....hopefully I just got a bad one. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Sounds to me like some one assembled something on the loader wrong.

May be that minimum wage guy they hired to assemble.

Reminds me, when I rented a walk behind trencher one time. It was jumping all over the place but would not dig. turned out the service boy installed the blades backwards. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

OK... here is an update on my problem...seems there are 2 model # Q/A brackets...####A goes on loader up to a certain serial #....and...####B goes on loaders with a later serial #....

Determined that the dealer had put the wrong one on my FEL /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Replaced it with the 723 loader that had come in in the meantime and double checked it there at the dealers before taking the tractor back home....

My dealer was great to work with....only now he is trying to figure out what he is going to plant in that bent FEL /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I'm happy and all better now /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
