None to very slightest amount of play in others (snug). Q: Are these linkages more important for vertical (lifting) support or for lateral stability of pivot points, or both??

Those linkages are to change the geometry and increase the range of motion for the bucket, no side loading. That more play then I would prefer but shouldn't cause and issues.

Most likely the other linkage is bearing more of the weight and that's why it feels tighter.

Personally I’d not be alarmed
Loader designed for up and down strength not side to side. That amount of play does not look like it would in any way impair the loader. If you feel as though significantly more play than other brackets could always all dealer for replacement bracket. Possible bracket hole slightly larger than others. Doubt pin is the issue.

Ah - finally, I understand your concern. So.... I go out to my tractor - it's got a heavy duty grapple on the FEL. Grabbed the grapple - pulled it side to side. The entire tractor moves slightly - side to side - on it's big 'ol soft R-1 tires. No noticeable movement in any of the FEL joints or components. But that could be because the grapple is attached.

You still concerned - go down to your dealer. See if he has a unit with the FEL bare. Check for slop on that unit.
Honestly - like others have indicated - I don't think it's a problem. Keep an eye on the one "plate" if you are still concerned. Your dealer is aware of your concern. If something goes "south" - he has been advised and you will be covered under the warrantee.

My NX6010 is exactly the same - hasn’t been an issue.

Ok, that seems slightly sloppy, but I wouldn't worry about it. No issue.

Pretty sure that's the same as on my NX. I busted up one of my linkages when I broke a tilt cylinder. Any existing play in that linkage had absolutely nothing to do with the eventual failure: under everything but the absolute abusive extreme ain't nothing bad going to happen- I am sure to test the limits of everything (whether that's my intention or not)!
