Loader FEL on 650 stuck in Float

I left my 650 parked with the FEL in float. (Full forward position that catches and holds until you retract it and it can spring back to neutral.) Today the lever will not release and so I cannot raise the FEL. Any trick to get it to release?

I don't know how yours is setup. Mine recently was not stuck but would stick into a position and would have to jar it to free it. Turned out on my hyd valve on the top there where 2 covers that are held on by allen screws ... moisture had got in there ... the springs where rusty and nasty, WD40 and some grease .. works like new again.

It is either the linkage from the joystick to the valve, or the detent balls (#7) in the the picture below of the valve body) have rusted.

You guys were RIGHT. It was the detent balls and spring that were rusty/nasty. Of course I first took the whole control valve off the machine, dissasembled it, cleaned it with brake cleaner, pressed it back together, reassembled and reinstalled on the machine. When I could have: (KennyD, I have the 30932CAV not the 30932CBH but you pretty much have to take the thing off the machine to tell the difference) 1. pried the dust cover cap off the end of the sticking valve, 2. tapped the end of the valve with a punch to release it, 3. sprayed some WD40, brake cleaner or Kroil into the orifice to clean out the nasty gunk, and 4. Greased the orifice full, work it a few times and close it up with the dust cover. All this without taking it off the machine. Live and learn. Thanks all.
