FEL Plow...

I have seen manytimes on highways large yellow industrial backhoes with front plows attached to the bucket of the FEL which allows them to plow without taking off the bucket. I have been looking around for a company that makes these for compact tractors and I feel I am out of luck. Does anyone know of a manufacturer that makes these type of plows for FEL's?

Ben,
At our store we sell a product called the Curtis loader blade. This is a fully hydraulic blade that goes on in place of the bucket. Yes, you do have to take the bucket off (4 pins) but it is not difficult to do. These are very rugged.

The problem is that the BX loader has only one cylinder in the middle and the Curtis blade requires cylinders on each side. We have had customers inquire about this set-up on the BX but as of yet we have not had a chance to experiment with it on the BX loader.

After looking over a home grown plow bolted to loader combo it would not be a project of any interest to me. The plow blade ends up being 5-6 feet in front of the grill, maybe more. Handling this beast on a hill calls for, let's say a lot nerve. I'm quite pleased with my 6' Curtis on a B 2710, as is a friend with his 5' on Bx (17?). You will probably want to alter the mounting plan though. Float with the upper arms connected just don't seem to make it. Good Luck
