Tractor
Few John Deere's and one Ford 3600 diesel.
I have looked through past topics but couldnt find my answer. if you buy a new tractor and add a FEL, does that include the bucket also? or is the bucket seperate? ive seen a few post in the past(couldnt find them again when i looked though), where some people bought a bucket, so i guessed they had to buy it seperate.

I don't think any dealer would price quote a loader without a bucket. You can order a loader without a bucket but that would have to be specified for the quote.

ok thanks. i couldnt imagine it being priced without a bucket, but didnt know if it was understould that it came without the bucket or not. i guess its better to ask now instead of in the future saying "yeah i want a FEL" only to show up to pickup my tractor and theres the loader, but no bucket only because i didnt specify i wanted a bucket with it.

I Think the price would include a standard pin bucket. There is a price for the bucket alone for the value of the bucket separate from the loader. A lot of people order a tach-all, a 4 in1 or a grapple bucket. This way the can customize there purchase to there needs

Large dairy next door has five large JD tractors with loaders... never saw a bucket on any of them... just hay spears.

Price quoted normally does include a bucket, but it is considered a separate part and I think you can order a loader without a bucket. I know when I got quotes, the bucket for a Kubota LA1153 (on an M5040) was a separate line item of $600, and the bucket on my JD 5105/522 was a separate line item, though no separate price was indicated. Both of these use quick attach systems and I think it would be strange to get a loader with a pin-on system that didn't include the bucket.

Some people may be buying special buckets like 4-in-1 and for them, the standard bucket might be superfluous.

I just ordered/received my JD tractor with FEL, and when ordering, the FEL had a standard bucket that came with it, but I chose to delete the standard bucket and replace it with a heavy duty bucket instead. There were a bunch of different bucket/attachment options you could choose to go with, or just delete the bucket altogether.

I imagine most brands are similar in that there is probably a standard bucket that comes with a FEL, but you will likely have the choice to delete that one in favor of a different/optional bucket (or other attachment if the loader supports such things), or no bucket at all if you already have a bucket or attachment you want to use with it.

Power Trac tractors come with integral FEL arms included in the price of the tractor, along with a quick attach system for all attachments, except on their most basic model. All buckets and attachments are then purchased seperately. ;)
