TC18inNY:
I don't have a TC18, but I had a BH 1846QT loader on my first tractor, a Ford 1700. I was generally pleased with the loader. The steel in the lift arms was lighter/thinner than the steel in the 7108 loader I have on my present tractor, but it seemed strong enough. I never noticed any flex in the lift arms. I only had two small problems with the loader.
The first was when I wanted to make minute adjustments (raise the loaded bucket just a little bit), the loader would first drop slightly, then raise when I added more joystick. Turned out to be a damaged O-ring in one of the arm cylinders -- apparently damaged during assembly. Took a while to figure out what was causing the problem, but when they figured it out, the dealer covered it under the loader warranty.
The second problem was the Ag tires on the front end would rub or hook on the mounting bracket if the wheel was turned sharply and I happened to go over a bump or through a dip, so the front axle "rocked" a little. Was not a big problem, but slightly irritating. I don't think I would have had the problem with Industrial or Turf tires.
All in all, I would have no problem adding this loader to another tractor in the 15-25 Hp class.
One last thought: If you use a MMM, you may want to be sure that the loader mounts are compatible with the MMM, or you may have to remove the FEL whenever you use the MMM, which may or may not bother you. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
Oops - Just went back and read your original post. Yes, the 1846QT was "quick attach" -- remove a couple of bolts and the "legs" for standing it up while detached are held on by pins during normal operation -- pull the pins, insert the legs in the proper place and use the pins to hold the legs in place.
P.S.: You can order the loader in Boomer Blue . /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
