I have noticed on a few brands of CUT's, the FEL has a Reinforcement from the pivot point down to the front "bumper" area. This looks way stronger than the ones with just a steel "tower" running strait down and bolted to the frame with no "trianglation"
Am I correct that the ones with the "extra" bracing from the pivot to the front bumper are more durable ?

What brands of 28-35 HP Cuts have this heavy duty FEL with bracing ?
Are there any CUT's with FEL's that are more "Permanent ", for serious dirt work ? I will be selling My Case 580 loader and getting a CUT, but do not want a toy loader, I do not mind a small loader, I just want a real one.

Thanks,
Nick

I believe if you do a search you will find quite a detailed description of FEL buckets that was done by a Mr. Bob Skurka. He documented in detail the differences between heavy duty buckets, and standard buckets. :)

without a doubt a cross member running from the top of the tower to the front frame stiffens the whole construct. it counters rotation at the frame mounting points of the arms when lifting and in addition when slamming into a pile, etc counteracts the opposite rotational force at the same point. to build it without this piece, bigger bolts, more frame contact, stronger arms etc must be used. some of the quick detaches have the additional front stabilization, others don稚. I went for my 300cx loader for the above reason. the front cross member doubles as the unit kickstand when detaching but sits on the front frame to counteract rotation when loading, and locks into the bottom of the front frame for preventing rotation when hitting something with the bucket.

Don't fall into the pit of armchair engineering. All of these loaders will work just find and I don't think you will find any of the loaders weak in any areas. You are all looking at them with a closed mind and not seeing the mounting kits as a whole. Any loader mfg Co worth spit does extensive and expensive testing to prove designs. All our loaders go through grueling strain gauge testing to find the weak areas and to make sure they will not break in the field. This is done with oversized cylinders and at pressures higher than what the tractor can put out. All so that we can know that you are getting a safe and quality product.

No. They are not any stronger in my opinion.
All the loaders with the tower straight down that I have seen have heavy framing in the center of the tractor and braces running from the center mainframe to the rear axle of the tractor.

Whichever you choose, don't forget the QA. :D

your right, dont pay attention to the design, they are all equal. btw. I hear kioti is having a blowout sale on used loader arms
