FEL speed

Have a new 3215HST and I noticed that the speed of the FEL seems to be related to the gear level. For example if I'm in H gear setting the FEL dumps slower than if I'm in L gear. Can anyone explain?:rolleyes:

I think you are gone crazy!

No, on a serious note the only way your loader should increase or decrease is by your RPM.

Although I have been wrong twice already this year.:D

Yep;

Ditto on the engine speed; I think we beat this to death earlier on the 7520's

Check your loader specs.below and see that rpm's is related to loader cylce times.

I suggest set the hand throttle at mid or above, use a lower gear where full clutch engagement can be employed/ foot off pedal. Spilling the clutch will cost $$$. desiels where made to rev, they have a govenor that will protect it.
Lugging a engine will cost $$$. Use the foot feed to pick up more rpm's when moving to dump.

I have loaded over 70 yds of gravel for the barn yard in the short time that I have owned my 7520. Ever time I use it I am amazed at how it acts like a commercial loader. Digging out of a bank,whallering thru the mud, etc.
