FEL uses ?

I frequently read posts about folks that are unsure if the FEL is worth the money. How do you use your FEL ? Well, I thought that I would show an unconventional use of the FEL. O.S.H.A. wouldn't approve but it works well for me.

Definitely not a recommended use./w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif But I've lifted my brother that way to work on his rain gutters, and I've lifted both him and a neighbor that way to prune trees./w3tcompact/icons/blush.gif

Ditto on the pruning of trees. I had my son in the bucket and drove around the yard pruning the trees so that they wouldn't bother the tractor.

I also used the FEL to assist on pushing over an old rotten Oak. We had it tied off on the far side and had cut most of it with a chain saw. It sure was a tough old tree. It was about 2.5 - 3' in diameter.

I ended up bending the blade down a little on that one.

I'am thinking it will make a great beer cooler at our house warming next spring. How many cases you think I can get into a standard bucket?

I also use it to prune trees and it works great. Other uses include loading cordwood into a trailer, snow removal etc.

My better half has claimed my FEL as her personal wheel barrow these days..... She does very well with it....... Tom

Now I don't exactly recall why but I've filled the bucket of my FEL with water for some reason. I must have been watering some plants around the place. IT worked great, no leaks and spilled a lot less than I thought.

I told the wife I made mention of her using our FEL as an expensive wheel barrow and she said "did you mention what you did on the 4th?"....

Gee I forgot.. But here is what we did.... I put some duct tape over the 2 holes I drilled for the tooth bar and we put in a bunch of ice, some water and a watermelon and a variety of pop and beer..... And, hid the key .... Tom

See! I knew it would make a great cooler! Why hide the key? Have the designated driver also drive around serving people. All the hoity toity parties have servers.
