fenders are sold

a guy came by to look at them and when i showed him the load test of me standing on them he gave me the money on the spot. he said any fender that can take 140lbs sitting on top of it and not move at all is one tough fender i just got to paint them for him and he's gonna come pick them up.i guess i'll go fenderless for a few weeks til i get around to makin a new set right now i have some rtv bumper to do and some bootsavers and then i'll do another set of fenders. and to think they never made it to ebay.lol

You do some great work Tommy, for we own several sets of the boot-savers down here that you built, and they are built tough as a tank. We'd put them against anybodys !!!

i'll do just that. i have to take them off today to get them painted up before i send them to him so i'll get a picture before i paint them just incase i scratch them up .lol. you know them fenders are in 12 diferent pieces!!!i had to put them things together like a puzzlebut lookin from the top you would never know now flip them over and look underneath and you can see the welds thats when you say man that must have takin some time. the guy thought i put the fenders in a press and made them all in one bend .

ok you wanted a picture of a load test here it is 140lbs standing on them . try this with them plastic fenders. this is what sold them to the guy. i don't make mickey mouse stuff. if i make it you can bet it can take a beating . if you look at them you'll notice i cut the front and back down some to make them look almost stock looking. and after i paint them you probably won't be able to tell them apart unless you look close. mine don't have the demples in them like the plastic ones do they don't need them .
