Does anyone know if Fenner Drives "PowerTwist" belts can be used on a 23HP Deere lawn tractor with a 48" mower deck? I have an email into Fenner and I'm waiting for them to reply.
I use PowerTwist belts on all my belt driven metal and wood working machinery.
I'm tired of having Deere's belts fail for whatever reason in spite of the mower deck being set up correctly. I know a PowerTwist will be significantly higher than a stock Deere belt; but changing a belt or just a portion, or breaking the link to remove the deck would be a lot easier than wrestling with a traditional V-belt.
