Ferguson plow share

Guys,

I know they're pretty elusive, but I'm looking for 16" or 18" share to go on a ferguson AO plow. I have the C bottom, which is the extra deep plowing general purpose bottom. Maybe someone knows of another share that would fit.

These are the shares that are not just a flat plate, but have a 'nose' that wraps around 3 dimensionally to the back side of the plow and meets up with the landside.

If anyone thinks they may have one, I have the model numbers, so perhaps we could trade info to see if we have a match.

I've tried all the usual places to look for one, and everyone has been very helpful, but nobody can get their hands on one.

I am not very active on this board since my main interst is collecting old Ford tractors and implements. Sorry to take so long to respond.

Try Sweigard bros. CNH (CaseNewHolland) in Halifax, PA. Ask for Scott in parts. Scott is also a collector of old Fords and Ford/Ferguson implements and prides himself on locating odds and ends still out there in the CNH parts system. He also has contacts with a local Amish foundry who will make replica shares and moldboards for the AO series plows. The price from the foundry is not cheap - figure on about $500 for a set of new shares and moldboards for a two bottom plow.

These AO plows have really become collector's items if they are in good condition. Your plow dates from 1939 to about 1947. There were at least two sub-models.
