I purchased a 40-30-20 for a new seeding of smooth brome. The 40 was ammonia nitrate at 50 cents per lb., phosphorus 35 cents per lb., and potash at 60 cents per lb. Purchased around labor day weekend. I can remember when N was .23, P was .18, and K was .13 cents rer lb. The prices I quoted for this year are high but not as high as 2008 when prices were .65-1.00-.80.
