Get a ROKON!
These things are awesome, 2wd drive large off-road tires and can float for river forging.
I've got a Rokon -- a 2003 Trailbreaker.
The bad
- 1950's technology
- slow (~25 mph tops)
- not streetable
- loud
- weak brakes
- worst motor Kohler ever made
- can't get the Honda motor because it deletes critical frame gussets for clearance
- grossly overpriced for what they are
The good
- simple to work on (1950's technology)
- will go *anywhere*
- the Rokon will go places that make a 4x4 ATV look helpless
The rims are hollow vessels that can hold water or fuel and it has a drawbar for towing things like deer or elk.
I believe the patent has expired on the Rokon design. If anyone ever had the motivation, he could come up with a new design that would blow the Rokon out of the water. Things like a quiet motorcycle type 4-stroke motor, suspension, and real brakes would make great cycle.
I think this would be a good farm cycle for the OP if he could get over paying a ridiculous amount of money for such an antiquated design.
