The below picture is the reason not to make sharp turns while dragging a full box blade.
I broke the sway bar connector bolt bracket.
Kubota Part # TC050-71352

Is it the pin that goes thru the lift arm that broke off. If so, I'd have welded on a new pin before spending $51 or drilled it out and used a grade 8 bolt and nut.

Weld that pup back up and it'll be better than new. When I break something like that which is fairly often it usually just costs me an hour of my time and a nickles worth of 6011. In some cases you can remake the whole piece and have a better job of it than the factory. It's things like this that prove you need a stick welder. Cheap to buy, cheap to run and versatile and they are all over Craigs List for 100 to 400 bucks.

The head of the bolt is welded on so it would have to be drilled out, or angle grind the head off and knock it out . . . maybe . . . Thanks.
This is what it is suppose to look like. Thanks Messicks parts.

I believe I would fix that one with grinder, and new bolt and welder.. Buying and learning how to use a stick welder is the best money and time you will ever spend in your life.

Make sure to buy an AC/DC machine, so you could weld using 7014 and 7018 electrodes.:D

Don't take this wrong but I don't know how to word this any other way. Why do you have the sway bar locked in the first place. You have the sides plates of the box blade sliced in to the soil, the rippers buried, how would expect to turn in the first place? When I first started farming and mold board plowed with a Farmall with fast hitch, we always pulled the sway control pin so the plow would sway side to side and allowed you to make small adjustments if you couldn't plow a straight furrow. I have read other threads where posters have stated they have the sway bar locked and I wondered why. I don't use one with any implement except for a backblade especially when angled.

Yea and that's what i have and use for almost everything. Still that good old Lincoln Tombstone will last as long as you do and you can get em cheap on Craigs List for around 100 (because guys like me and you like to weld DC:thumbsup: better). Those AC buzz boxes still serve to do most anything you can't do with a 12o Volt mig.

TxDON, that mig will do fine if it's a 22o machine but if you got a little 12o:thumbdown: like my Hobart you better get it sticked.
