OK...
I have read about filling tire's to get extra traction... But what do you fill them with? Water? How do you (I) go about doing it and with what?

Thanks

I used, recycled anti-freeze. You might want to check around, as I found a repair shop near my house that would fill tractor tires with used anti-freeze, and that did the trick on my 4100. With the 4310, I am gonna try the ballast box first as these tires are a bit heavy already, let alone adding in fluid-based weight. switching tires is tough enough now, without the addition of fluid to them. As Roy has indicated filled tires do improve stability, primarily. With a Ballast box, you can get more tread on the ground due to the increased weight.

Also I have heard of some people on this forum that use foam, but I don't know how effective that is. But no leak worries.

Foam Fill

apparently it can be acquired with varying levels of density - making it heavier and heavier.

or you might want to look at this product

TRAK N SEAL Executive Overview

says it is heavier than foam or CACI
