Filud in the bell housing masssey 1540

Massey 1540 Power shuttle 07. I have found the bell housing is filled with hydraulic fluid from the transmission. There is only 1 shaft coming through the transmission case to the bell housing. I do not think the seal is the cause. But suspect a crack in the trans case. Don't know how that could happen as there should be no pressure in that area. going to take off the starter and slip a camera in before I split it.

Any input or suggestions?

You can do this job without taking the dash off. Remove the injector lines and intake tube. This is so you can remove the fuel tank. You probably have a leaking rear main seal or a leaking transmission input shaft.
