My wife has been talking about getting a sprayer for a couple years now so I helped her and my son pick one out. Sometimes it's hard to get the 300 gallon sprayer from the local farm supply so now she has access whenever she needs it. We're going back to Agri-Supply to get the plumbing supplies to make the connections Quick Disconnect. Anyway she's already ran about 275 gallons of Liquid Fertilize and 2,4-D through it. We went with a Delavan solid Stainless Steel body 8 Roller Pump. The boom seems to be working out well, it has cast spring-loaded breakaways so that's nice. For the money I don't think she could go wrong. We spent one whole day calling and going to various local dealers trying find a decent setup, most had little to nothing in stock and if they did it didn't have a Nitrogen Resistant pump on it and they weren't willing to swap it out or delete from the price. Agri-Supply had 3 and 2 had just rolled out of the assembly area so it hasn't been sitting out in the sun at all. Most of the frame on this sprayer is about 3/8" thick, seems well constructed and has Cat. 1 and 2 connections without having to use sleeves.
Style of Quick Connects I'm going to put on it. Not this brand but same design. Nobody nearby has these in the sizes we need so it's 2 1/2 hours to Agri-Supply to get them and some other stuff.
