Final Cub/Home Depot/Lowes Announcement...

Obviously Cub Cadet will not be in Lowes next year. I received two press releases today from MTD/Cub Cadet stating that as of yesterday Cub Cadet and Home Depot have officially signed a contract for Cub Cadet to be in Home Depot for 2006.

Straight from the horses mouth. Obviously they will have only limited products, just the 1000 series and RZT mowers. For better or worse Home Depot here we come! /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

But will the CC dealers be setting up the units for HD, like has been done with the JD's, or will HD try to set them up themselves?

And will Lowe's be setting up the JD's, as they did with the CC's, or will they use the HD model for unit prep?

With HD now taking on the RZT, does that affect where the ZFs are sold?

How's the M50 working out? Much feedback? I was rather impressed, I noticed a website [perhaps yours] that listed it with but not as a Tank; wish CC's website was more distinct.

How about the ZWing?

Not in the market myself, but afer looking at dozens of mowers last year, kind of like to keep up with 2006!

No, Z-Forces will still only be sold at independent dealers and TSC locations. The M50KHS is doing well, they are at a nice price point with the right features. I also expect the new Z-Force with the 48" Fabricated deck to do well for Cub this year. The Z-Wing has had its far share of problems, but they are addressing them and they will hopefully improve their reliability this year (although we don't sell too many of them).

From what I understand the Cub Cadet Commercial website should be updated soon, with some changes coming to the "regular" Cub website.
