Well, I have had the resto done for a while now but been busy using the tractor so here are a couple more pics of it finished. I am actually considering selling/trading this for a little larger model now as we have more area to bushhog and need something a little larger to handle the 5 ft BH.

Anyone want to trade for a larger CUT? Like a Mits 1650/1800/2000? This tractor runs like a new one and the only thing it needs is the glow plug system diagnosed. The indicator will not lite up when in preheat but the tractor starts fine in warm weather so I have not fixed it yet.

This 372 has all the hp I need, it just needs a little more weight for larger box blade/BH/Tiller. Someone can make me an offer on this one also, I will probably be listing it next week when we get back from Vacation.
thanks,
Bill

It looks great:)

You shouldn't have any problems selling it.

what a beauty.really nice job.to fix the glow indicator.my hunch is to filp flop the glow wires at the switch.move the 2 wires to where you have the one and vice versa.

No, I still havent fixed the glow indicator but it starts fine until about Oct when it starts cooling down. Trying to get the roof on the woodshed, wood busted and a beach trip in before it breaks 100 deg here.

I got the seat at Tractor Supply. It fit really nice and is very comfortable. I had to make a couple of brackets on the bottom to install and was a snap. I think they have a website at www.tractorsupply.com

Nice job!
I snagged a can of that blue Ford engine paint, too. It's pretty much a perfect match.
I need to wash mine up and post up some pictures, too. Maybe after I'm finished mowing tonight.

It looks nowhere near as nice as this restore. Bought a S470d last May, and it just needed lots and lots of cleaning and lots of routine maintenance..all fluids/filters changed, and the cooling system needed lots of work.

I think we should start a tractor picture thread!

Hey eightski, look back on some of my previous pictures before paint. I used a purple degreaser from Auto Zone and it worked awesome! It is just called Super Degreaser.
