Finally after a long winter of waiting, my wife, 16 yr. old son and I are off to Tazewell. Leaving Bismarck, ND on May 5 and hopefully arriving in the wonderful land of Tazewell on May 6. Will be taking the tour and training class as well as the demo. Yes, I will try to get some pictures, I can read you guys minds already. I am not a frequent poster on the TBN PowerTrac forum, but I am a frequent reader. I have been looking at tractors and weighing my options for over a year now. I don't think I did as thorough a job of research as did Mossroad and some of the others on this forum, but I did a fair amount of looking and after a lot of consideration, I (we, as I always have to include my wife in decisions costing more than $20) decided on the PowerTrac.
I am certainly glad I found this forum, the info about the PT's on this forum is worth it's weight in gold. And no, I am not going to be sending anybody gold coins for sharing their info on this forum. See, I told you I could read your minds. I can honestly say that this is the best forum I have ever been on, with maybe the exception of fatwallet.com, but then that is a different kind of forum. Wow, this is getting to be a long post. On to the important stuff.
I will be trailering home a PT425 along with a slew of attachments. Attachments I will probably be getting include: 5 and 10 cu ft buckets, 48" finish mower, 48" rotary tiller, post hole digger with 6" and 18" augers, 60" snow blade, forks, and possibly the mini hoe. Wow, that sounds like about 14 grand worth of equipment. It's a good thing I have been saving for a tractor for about 10 years.
Thanks to all who contribute to this forum for helping me make the right decision for me and my needs.
I will try and post pics soon after my return to North Dakota on May 8 or 9.
See you on the net.
