Here is the final result - I wanted front/rear light on separate circuit and to have the lights and ROPS wiring removable.

Magnetic lights, switch, waterproof PVC box, marine 12/2 wire bought from eBay
Replaced lighter plugs and receptacle with PartsExpress version (great quality)
Marine grade, 3-plug receptacle has mounting plate so if can be removed
20amp inline fused circuit direct to battery - sorry, no relay (I'll take the risk)
All ROPS wiring secured with magnets and vinyl bolts/nuts and clamps
Took the ROPS paint mix from another post to Lowes - color match is close enough for me

The only thing I did not consider, and was very surprised about - the amount of vibration in the ROPS at low RPM...need to spread lights out or they rattle together. Yes, I was crusing the property after dark last night :)

Finished the mowing deck stand too.

Both projects are the result of the many posts I have read - no real creativity on my part.

Enjoy,
Curt

How much did the mower stand project cost ya? They are similar to Larry's but with larger (inflatable) tires and smaller diameter axles.

The wheels were $3.99 at Harbor freight...a few bucks for the washers and cotter pins, I have left over bushings from another project but they were pretty cheap.

Ordered the axles from "All Metals Inc" off the web - if I recall, they were about $20 including shipping - you can get a quote online, I have used them before and had great luck with orders/pricing/product..

So ~$45 gets you close...

Hope that helps...
