Finally,I broke down and bought the part for the bent power steering rod.Wound up buying a new one. After talking to a couple of shops. The recommeded method of repair was to make a new rod.Not to straighten the old one.Ok I say how much.Comes to about $300 for Parts, labor, and new rebuild kit from dealer.Never mind I said.I'll just by a new one and put it on my self....$425 +tax.Figured why take a chance on the warrenty. Easy repair but I don't plan to do it again.Maybe I'll go beaver hunting /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gifany body need a new fur coat..../w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif/w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif...How bout those skid plates some mentioned, any body had any luck?
