Finally got a loader ....

I have been wanting a fel for my Ford 1210 fwd for years but could never justify the cost. I recently priced a new Westendorf and with tax it was about 4,000. No way that was going to happen. I kept thinking I would get a rear scoop and learn to use that.

Then I found one on eBay Saturday that was a Westendorf TA-55, was in like new condition, and came off of an indentical 1210 fwd. I gave 1600 for the whole kit that includes hoses, valve, brackets, etc....

I just got back from a 12 hour round trip to pick it up. The clincher was that it was within driving distance.

Now for the fun part of installing it .... I am tired of using a shovel and wheel barrow.

I think all the time I spend reading this website is having an effect on me!

I don't know about you, but after I got my loader, my backside was sore for a few days from kicking my self for not doing it sooner. You'll love it. (The loader, not the butt kicking )

Loaders are a beautiful thing! I wanted one for our 8N for a long time. Thought about building, adapating & did by a slightly newer Ford loader (in pieces) but never got the old Ford loader-ized. But...... we wanted 4WD, as well something a little bigger & bought a new Kubota WITH a loader.

As someone probably already said, you'll wonder how you got along without it.
