My new TC33D was delivered today and it is everything that I had hoped for and more. I only wish that I had bought it sooner. Rides and handles like a dream and mows grass oh so nice. The supersteer is the cat's meow for mowing and the front end loader is the trick.

Prairie,

Now you got me jealous. I went for the TC25D and dealer talked me into the 29 for $400.00 more and if I wanted to go to the 33 I would have had to pay another additional $1,000.00. I just had to draw the line on the TC29D. What mower did you end up going with the 60 or the 72??

Congradulations you will have fun with her and yes they make one H*** of a mowing machine.

Murph,
I ended up with the 60 inch mower due to the fact that a lot of of my mowing was on uneven ground. I believe that it will work out great and it is a h*** of a lot faster than my 46 inch cut Lawn General from the now defunct Central Tractor

Murph.........When I went to buy our tc29D the dealer called back and said he could get a tc33d cheaper ! Seems NH had a glut of the 33's in stock last oct and told dealers to push em! Nothing like a few extra free horses !!...........TOM

Prairiegrass,

Congratulations on your new arrival, that's a fine looking tractor. And I'm not saying that just because it's twin showed up at my place this afternoon!! No kidding on the power for mowing, pulled the 72" RMM up the steepest slope of our lot in mid-range without skipping a beat.

Regards,

Chuck

Hey, Chuck!
You got it -great! FYI, I mowed in the rain yesterday and on Wednesday after lowering my tire pressure to near minimum requirements and removing my loader/weights. I left barely a tire mark in the grass and was surprised how shallow the tread marks were in the mud even with R4's. So, you shouldn't have any problem firing it up and mowing this afternoon!

Looks like we both have good taste when it comes to tractors. I can't wait till Sunday so I can have time to play. Hope it doesn't rain but it doesn't look too promising.

Prairie,

In my case, it may be more a matter of luck than good taste, plus a lot of time lurking on TBN. Regardless of how I got there, though, we both sure have great tractors!! First addition for mine, I think, is going to be a tilt meter. What about you?

Chuck

Tilt meter sounds like a great idea for safety's sake. the guys on TBN are awesome. I was totally baffled on which tractor to purchase until I read the forums and got feedback from them. I thought I was getting a good deal, but Spencer's advice sealed the deal for me
