DK35 with BH and Loader...

Been playing with it and was wondering if there's any trick into getting the front wheels in and out of engagement?

The floor mount lever is sticky . Keep pressure on it as you go into and out of forward and reverse to help unbind things.

I have a DK45. The lever is actually backwards to what the manual says. Down for 4wd and up for 2wd. Some times it likes to stay in 4. If I go to H range and try going forward then back it sometimes helps it slip out. When I have difficulty taking it out I usually just forget about it for a while then try it later on and it usually works.

Like Nelson mentioned.
The manual is wrong.2 WD is up 4 WD is down.
I find I can engage 4 WD more easily if I keep the tractor rolling with little to no load (slides right in).
To disengage I just pull up on the handle while moving.(I don't even slow down or bother with the clutch to take out of 4 WD).

Did it help any to keep the tractor moving a little ?
After some use it should loosen up some.

Do you know if the 2385 is the same backhoe as the older #2085 or are these completely differant hoes ?

I do know the 2085 is the same hoe as my Rhino 85.

I just put a little more elbow to the shifter and it went in.
