Finally got our new generator today

I have always been sooo grateful that so many people choose to live in uninhabitable regions. I can't imagine living somewhere like Palm Springs, Phoenix, or most of the American South without electricity, but people do.

Amen ! To live somewhat remote requires you to fend for yourself to a degree. You just don't jump in your truck and go to the local stores. More and more people though are heading for the hills so to speak !

try turning your electric off for a week, and see what you miss.. modern living revolves around electric!..

I've went a heck of a lot longer than a week without power, we just aren't "electric hogs", so it's not like the earth is ending to us, when the power goes out...
