Well, it was finally delivered last Friday. I've been so busy doing other things that I have only put 8 hours on it so far but I can honestly say that I am quite impressed. This new HST-plus is pretty neat for running up and down my slopes and it has enough power to pull the 6 foot Bush Hog - something I was a little worried about. It hasn't been hot enough to test the a/c but it appears to be capable of freezing me out of the cab. When I was mowing, it was really nice to make a turn and watch all the dust and chaff glinting in the sunlight as it drifted on by. I mowed and messed around for 3-4 hours and could have stepped on down, washed my hands and eaten supper, no sweaty, dusty crust to wash and scrape off and no bugs in my teeth. It sure was a nice change. I even moved my first downed tree to the burning pit and started tidying up my pasture. I think this is going to be really neat.
Once again I would like to thank Eddie Walker and Gary51 for turning me on to Rose Country Equipment in Tyler. They were very helpful, easy to deal with and saved me quite a bit of money. Hey, I almost bought a Deere. Thanks guys.
I will post photos as soon as I figure out how to resize them.
