Nice. I wonder why with all that glass, they don't have some kind of fenders for the front. I think JD has some cheap flimsy plastic fenders. Might help keep your view out the front a little better, and heaven forbid kicking up a rock going down the road.

Cool cab it reminds me of the tw15 fords you got you a good tractor .TC series tractors are a good investment and you can get alot of work done with them.

That's a very nice unit Houndstooth. I told my wife that I would like to have a tractor with a cab for mowing in the summer. She said that I would never get off the thing if I had it. Well...that was the point.

Do me a favor. When you are mowing in August, put a thermometer inside the cab and take a picture to show us the temperature in that 90 deg plus Georgia summer. Perhaps that might sway my wife a little...

Will do Turbys. If the cold is also needed, I can do. I was in it Friday. It was 42 degrees out and in about 2 minutes I had to cut the heat off! If the a/c works as good as the heat, I'll be fine! haha

Nice rig!!!! When I bought my TC55DA 15 months ago they didn't have cabs for that size or smaller. When did they start that??? Have any idea how much that added to the cost??? I'm still not sure i could use a cab because i'm still in heavy woods. I'm sure it'd tear it up. Wonder if you can buy a factory one for it now and how cost effective and difficult it would be to add one?? Anyone know?

I think it adds about $2,800.00 to the cost. They just started putting cabs on TC40 and 45 a few months ago. The TC40 is the smallest cab model they put out.
It seems, and don't quote me on this, that in an earlier post someone stated that they asked about getting a factory cab installed on their tractor and it couldn't or wouldn't be done.

That's correct...you cannot retrofit a factory cab on a prior unit. There are too many differences between the 2 with the suspended brakes pedals and plastic dash and AC pump and hosing on the engine and so on and so on. Even if they did offer a "kit" it would be through parts and you would have close to $9000 in it after installation. Definitely cheaper to simply trade up and get yourself a fresh one from the factory with a full new 3 year warranty.
