Just a post to let y'all know that my MF 150 is "basically" back to working order. My last issue that took so long to overcome was what us computer guys call "User Error." As some of you know, it started with me getting the tractor stuck on Christmas Day and then it turned into an air bleed issue. The last thing was replacing the sediment bowl which had a crack in the back of it and the fuel filter. I couldn't for the life of me get the gravity feed to work. Finally yesterday after proving there was nothing wrong with the fuel pump I decided to look at the fuel filter for the 10th time. What I had done was placed the sealing ring in the wrong place and it was covering up the area the fuel was supposed to feed through. So simple and so dumb, I know.
So after all that, I have replaced the fuel pump (as I mentioned in another thread, I can do it in the dark now I've taken that thing apart so many times), replaced the O rings in the fuel injector, replaced the fuel filter and sediment bowl, re-did the fuel lines in some places with flex tubing instead of the metal line and changed the fluid out of the radiator.
I still have a bunch of work to do on it since it is such an old tractor and came "as is" but at least she runs and I even got a bt of work out of her today.
Thanks to all of you who responded with advice and even those who read my posts and shook their heads mumbling "poor guy."
