*Snip!*... The exhaust is slightly pointed down, and the air blast was contacting the ground, making some dust! This contributed to getting the whole machine dusty, so every hour I stopped and cleaned the tractor and air filter with compressed air.

Bill6,

You should listen to your wife... this obsessive/compulsive disorder that you have is definitely not healthy. Seek help, my friend, for your own sake, and for that of your family as well.

BTW, nice looking tractor!:p

Recently I traded in my 3215 for the 2415. The guys down on the Mahindra section of this site, are sometimes teasing me because I enjoy keeping the tractors clean. Check these out, also included are my 2006 Ranger, and 2005 Honda Insight. (my wife says I spend WAY too much time out in the garage cleaning and polishing) Sometimes I hesitate to use the tractor, for fear of getting it dirty.........

I'll be willing to bet you've never had gravel in your pickup truck either...i.e. No scratches in the bed...:D

Well when ever you have free time stop by my farm and have at it...:D

Hi Paul, you are right! On this Ford Ranger, I keep the bed waxed, and take off my shoes when standing in it, to reach the top of the cab for waxing. I use my old 1985 Nissan to haul gravel, dirt, debris. In fact, I've never driven the Ranger in the rain yet. But the day is coming, when I will need to realize a truck is for WORK, and just bite the bullet.

I hate to see a clean shiny tractor, it makes my wife think mine should look like that.

bill6: Nice tractor. I keep my stuff pretty clean but not fanatical.

How do you get 41 on the Ranger? Just curious.

We had a solution for your type...:D
A gravel pile and a shovel...two shovelfuls into the bed and it was baptized...:D
