Tractor
none yet
After several threads trying to figure out exactly what I needed, and evaluating a few used tractors, I finally pulled the trigger, and the practically new, but definitely new to me 2555 with backhoe, box blade, and rake will be delivered Saturday! I debated much bigger tractors, and was dead set on a cab, but after various discussions with people here and evaluating my short term vs long term needs, I decided that my immediate needs have a lot more digging (cleaning up several streams, digging a septic system and some trenches, etc.) and that I needed a tool to be able to handle that work in the short term. This tractor had the backhoe, was a great middle ground in terms of size, already had the hydraulics installed for the 3rd function grapple, and was really exactly what I needed. Finding it barely used at a great price sealed the deal. Found it with less than 100 hours, barely even broken in yet! I had originally planned on getting a Kubota, but for the size of machine, and all of the attachments, I couldn't pass up this deal. More pics once everything is delivered this weekend!

Longer term, will still very likely add a cabbed larger tractor, once the operation is a little more established.

For now, can't wait to start on some projects and put some hours on this thing!

A really old thread where people helped me narrow down my short term and long term needs. Very helpful stuff, and thanks to everyone!!!! I am sure I will need some help maintaining this thing, but will cross that bridge when I get there.

Enjoy your new to you machine. Don't worry about what the nay sayers will say because you didn't buy orange, or green.
Now if you want a great grapple for that machine. Look at a wicked Grapple from everything attachments.
Not the cheapest, but it sure is the toughest on the market

You can buy a cheaper grapple, but you won't buy a better grapple than a wicked.
