I finally had enough. Ever since I got my machine back on 2001, I've been dealing with flats on the pneumatic caster tires on the mower deck, snow plow and brush cutter.
I changed the brush cutter tires to solid tires about 2 years into it. So that was no longer a problem, and left me two spare pneumatics. The seal on the pneumatics just doesn't seem to hold past 1 or 2 mowing sessions. I'd resorted to just swapping the solid casters onto the mower deck and plow for the season, and just "borrowing" them back for the brush hog 2-3 times a season.
Well, I lost a wheel bearing on one of the solids, and finally figured it was time to tube the pneumatics. So I bought two tubes and put them in today and mowed the lawn. I'll probably get two more and tube the ones for the plow sometime before winter, and pick up a couple new solids when I get the chance.
