Over 3 weeks waiting... /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif...at least I still had my 21 to play with /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I was told the delay was due to availability of the 914A MMM(rear discharge models are hard to get?) and the dealer being backed up with other deliveries.
However, I have reason to believe it was ready a week ago, and sitting in the showroom as a 'show & tell' item!! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Either way...it's here and it's mine /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

The only disappointment...

48" bucket delivered instead of 54" /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Not sure why, but someone wasn't paying attention when they put this together...and I know what I ordered.

I'll have to wait til Monday to straighten this issue out.

The LA series FEL improvements alone made the deal worth doing....

Grease fittings on the LA series FEL are perfectly placed...side access.

Structual design of the LA series FEL looks very rigid. My 7106 did flex somewhat, even with all the hardware torqued correctly!

Can't wait to r&r the FEL to see what it takes. My 7106 was a slight pain, but after 5 yrs I got used to it.

The only difference that I see in the new 914A MMM compared to my old one was the dual holes in the rear lift bracket on the deck itself. This allows it to fit pre 2002 tractors in one position, or post 2002 in the other. Other than that, looks the same. Maybe the geometry has changed...I was told my old 914 would not fit the new DA tractors.

Probably better off anyways...why would I want to put that 'old blue' MMM on this 'new blue' beauty /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

...almost forgot to mention that those hairpins that secure the pins on the MMM are history. Those stupid things always fall out. I lost 3 or 4 on my old 914 before I switched over to the spring/ring style(not sure of the name)

Underhood improvements are just as impressive...

but what I don't understand is, if they went to the trouble to move the coolant jug and air filter housing, why didn't they relocate the fuel filter? Seems like they could have done something there based on what it takes to change the filter. The fuel filter on this new rig looks to be just a tad tighter to get to, with the new design of the FEL. Lucky me /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Another plus...they lost all that foam insulation on the inside of the hood. That stuff was a joke!! IMO, all it did was collect dust...and ALOT of it!! If it was for noise reduction, cotton ear plugs would have worked better...and cleaner too /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

My TC29D has the two holes in the rear lift pins. It is pre-2002 tractor.

The new dash...

This I really liked. Glad they carried the blue body panel theme below the dash. The new dash cluster also looks like it is sealed much better than the older ones. My dash on the 21 would collect a film of dirt/dust on the inside of the cluster lense. I had to remove and disassemble the cluster to clean it!

Hmmm...turn signals too?? I doubt I'll ever have a need for them, but if I do...I got em /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Really?? My 99 didn't.

We're talking about the bracket welded to the deck, not the lift linkage on the tractor, right?
