Finding model # of bush hog

I just bought a john deere bush hog, and I would like to know the model, but all I have is the serial #. Can some1 please help me.

Can you post a picture? What's written on the SN tag?

Yep, some pics and I am sure we could help you out. The serial # is probabally going to be useless unless perhapse part of the serial is indeed the model #

Some of the first rotary mowers Deere marketed had SERIES #'s (indicating 3-point, drawn, ect) rather than SERIAL #'s. Tag would indicate SER#001 , SER#002, ect. Many a person has been confused with that marking.

We need a picture or a VERY detailed description!
