I need suggestions on finish mower wheels. I have a LandPride AT2572 and it came with Tractor Supply wheels on it and its wearing teh axle bearings out and bending the hubs. Where can I get some good wheels and not pay a fortune for them?

I broke a bearing in one of my wheels and went to an auto parts store with the old wheel and bearing, they looked the bearing up and ordered a new one, works fine.

If you are bending the axles hubs the shafts for
the wheels are bent SOOOO surgery is in
order with a better set up if you have the room.

Axles ar just 1/2" bolts and are straight. I think its just cheap rims/hubs that are standing up to the side pressure that the turning of the the 3pt causes. I may have to break downa dn call the Land Pride dealer and order some oem wheels from them for big $$$

Sounds like a little grease once in a while in the hubs and caster forks would make things roll and swivel rather than drag sideways & bend. I see a lot of "junk" wheels & bent caster forks that haven't been greased since pre-delivery inspection.

I have been running rear finish mowers for 21 years...
In that time I had to replace 1 wheel because I bent the darn thing when making a sharp turn and hit a tree...
I make sure to grease them every time that I mow...
The ones that I have on now have a little wear but nothing that is not workable...
I have one spline that is bent a little but again it is not bad enough to warrant replacement...

Absolutely! Maintenance is your friend. Neglect and abuse can be your friend too because second hand equipment gets a whole lot cheaper when it needs some repair..... I wish to thank the forum members for your participation in sharing knowledge and experience. I'm new to the tractor world and the posts have hepled me get ahead on some of my inherited repairs.

I greased the entire mower and made sure everything was free when i bought it, I also grease before every use. I think the wheels on it were not orginal but just cheap aftermarket ones. Heck i was able to bent the rims back just my pulling on them with my hands.

I have a Land Pride finish mower that has solid tires and the only problem I have had is bending the pivot when hooking it on tree. I recommend the solid tires (linked above).
