Tractor
New Holland TC 40A
After several months of hard work, the garage is finished. The most amazing part of the project was how much work my little TC 30 did. The TC 30 with the assistance of the FEL, rear blade, and a plow cut almost 6 feet of soil out of the hillside. In all the tractor was used to remove 100-120 small 2-4" size trees and one large oak. I used the fel to move eleven 18 ton loads of gravel to fill in the foundation.

Nice looking garage. Is there any storage under it? Looks like it could have a basement.

Very nice Todd! I have a garage attached to my house, but would love to have a seperate one for tractor and implements. I've even thought about a 1 bay barn (approx. 16X24). I think it would be smarter to go with 2 bay garage though. MAYBE I'LL CLEAN MY CURRENT GARAGE OUT AND JUST USE THAT PROPERLY! hahahaha

Anyway, very nice!

Nice job Todd,
Building looks like you had a contractor do it. I was wondering about that crawl space where it slopes down too? Is that solid or open?

I have a 16 x 22 stall in my 22x 76 metal pole building for my BX23.
Presently I'm closing in the 12 x 22 Bay on the right end of the building to use as a place to tinker around on tractors and my pick ups this winter.
Just installed the heater today.

A contractor did do most of the work; however, he needed some extra help because he was building a house at the same time. Dad and I helped him do the entire job and he cut us a big break. We did have an electrician do all of the electrical work. The only part that I did not like was insalling the cedar siding. We installed the gutters, wood stove (including chimney), and painted the entire garage. We cleared the land and made it level so the contractor only had to bring in concrete forms.

We have extra storage space in the attic and we only roughed in the ceiling so we still have access. The only thing I would change is the amount of space we wasted under the garage. The back left corner concrete wall is just over 8' high and this area is filled with gravel.

Sounds awesome! I would love to have that kind of space. You are lucky to have something like that to section off.
Can I have a section of it to put my tractor and items??? hahahaha
I would like to see pictures of it. Maybe that should be a thread, show your storage area or work shop. hmmm.

1* Might be a long ways to drive your tractor here.
2*I think I saw a thread like that on one of the tractor boards.

PS >> UPDATE
Got the ceiling done using a cradle on the clamp on bucket forks to lift the nine 4x8 sheets of OSB up into position.
Built double swinging doors out of OSB and 2x3s for frames.
I do these doors by building the frames and covering them with the osb all in one step at the same time.
