After I parked the tractor tonite I notice the FEL level rod was out of its guide and bent up. It appears the lower portion of the guide the rod slides in had become unscrewed from the top portion, and allowed the rod to kink up. I have straightened the rod in the shop. But it is too late too dark and raining outside to try to assemble it. It also looks like the lower bracket that is welded to the end of the curl cylinder rod is slightly bent down. I will have to try to straighten that in the daylight. All should be good to go, I am proud of how well I was able to straighten the rod by putting it in a smooth face vise, and carefully bending multiple times and checking for straightness each time. I would probably have noticed it but it was so dark out I was still pushing fill by the tractor lights and really operating the bucket angle by feel not by looking at it. That will teach me!

Same thing happened to me clearing snow this winter. Luckily I spotted it right away and was able to straighten the rod and the lower attachment bracket.

I put it on fairly tightly but your post reminds me I should check it again. If it has loosened I will likely put some blue Loctite on it.

I was just thinking the same thing, when I put it back together, I should blue Loctite the threads and tighten the Pixx out of it.

All fixed, I used Locktite, and used an automatic center punch on the joint where the pieces go together to raise a little burr, and painted.. Lets see it come apart now..HA:dance1:

Same thing happened to me. I did remove the rod and guide, built another rod and made an ajustable guide, so whatever implement i'm using i know when it's leveled.

I too have dislocated the rod numerous times when rolling the bucket to full down.
Do you have any pics of your mod?

Same thing happened on my new DK45SE the other day, trying it out at the dealer - first time I dumped the bucket, it came apart. Of course I didn't notice it until I curled the bucket back up, instant pretzel! Dealer straightened it out for me and reconnected it all. I'll be seeing him tomorrow, and let him know how many other folks are having the same experience.

Here are some pics of the mod, i did mount it on the left side, since my diverter valve is installed on the right. I did do this on my DK45SEC, put no more tractor=no pics:( It was simple enough to do, took about 20 min.
