Talk about pests! For most of the summer we've had centipedes. Small ones about 1 inch long. I've read that the were migrating after the use up the food where they hatched from eggs. Every evening the carport would be full of hundreds crawling aimlessly. A cool night every now and then would slow them down. The came into the house and didn't seem to be after anything just crawling slowly on the carpet and would die if we didn't pick them up and get rid of it. When you touch one it leaves an unpleasant chemical like smell on your fingers. You can smell it even through tissue and heavy typing paper. Well they are about gone now but now what do I see when I go outside?. Love bugs flying up my nose. Is this Rural living or what.
