first choice equipment

is there only [1] first choice company??i am very seriously considering ordering there 66" 10 series rototiller and 20 series 6'boxblade and 20 series 7'landscape rake.is this a good tiller??

First Choice is a marketing name for Buy Smart in Wilson, NC. The Tillers are made by Sicma and the landscape equipment was made by Midwest Equipment. Currently Buy Smart has no MFG for its Landscape equipment. Midwest is no longer building their implements. You might want to look also at the CCM gear drive tillers pictured

Can't give you much feedback on the tiller or the landscape rake. But when First choice was selling relabeled Midwest box blades, members here seemed very happy with them. Well built for a fair price. I don't know what (if anything) they've replaced the MidWest units with. If I were in the market for a boxblade, I'd be looking at MidWest. I own a Woods GB72 boxblade and have been very happy with it. I'd buy one again, but from what I've heard here, MidWest is equal in quality and better in price.

I must've been one of the first here to get and laud the First Choice box blade. As John said, it was very well designed and well made. I took a number of pictures of mine and posted them here under a heading of 'New First Choice Box Blade' or something like that if you care to search my posts for it.

If mine came up missing from my barn tomorrow I don't think I'd even look at one by another manufacturer. I'm real happy with mine.
