Larry,

Mind telling me what you paid? Did you price the KK 48" tiller from TSC?

Why did you choose the First Choice?

I paid 1,739 for both including shipping to Upstate NY (Shortsville) The KK 48"model was more. Our TSC is not open yet here in my area. Im pretty sure the 48" KK is about 1300 alone. The KK seems to be higher in the smaller models. Why i dont know. Im guessin its because of the popularity of them. Sweet Tractors said right to my door shrinked wraped on a skid.-( my driveway very accessible)
If ya do a search on TBN youll find sweet tractors no problem to see all their products and prices. Larry

Larry,
when you get your tiller, I'd be interested to hear your opinions of it. I too am in the market for an economical tiller and was going to look into First Choice or KK.
Thanks,
Dave

Larry, I'd also be interested in how the tiller works. We've got the same tractor. I'll be in the market someday soon. Keep in touch. Kent

Iblair,

I got the First Choice 48 inch tiller from Sweet Tractor a few weeks ago. I am very happy with it, it does a great job! I made a dolly for it, makes putting it on and taking it off very easy. The tiller was greased and filled with oil and ready to go, all I had to do was cut the PTO. I had to cut about 3 inches off the PTO to fit the Kubota BX 2200. The tiller came on a pallet covered with plastic to protect it in transport. They also covered all the pins with tape to keep them in place, it was a pain taking off all that tape, BUT it was worth it, looks great. I had a few areas where the tiller hung over and some paint was rubbed off during transport. No big deal, I figure the rocks it kicks out will do the same. It came on a 18 wheeler with a lift gate, the FEL worked great getting it up the driveway. Put one end in the FEL and chained it to a hook on the bucket. If I had to do it again I would. The only regret I have was I wanted a carry all, but they were out of stock, could have saved on the shipping cost. Anyone reading this in NJ or Eastern, PA ( near Easton) and is getting anything from Sweet Tractor, and would like to share the cost of shipping , let me know.

Have fun with your stuff.

Regards

Tom

Larry, Sounds like a good place to buy. If I were about 150 miles closer, I'd give them a call. If I'm think right, they are about 250 miles away from me. I ran to Kingston NY for work. Its about 250 miles from here. Is that close to you? Thanks for the info. Kent

Kent,
No they are not closer to me. I live in Upstate NY. Sweets is in Kentucky. My items are being shipped by Rig to my driveway. Larry

Sorry Larry, I thought you were getting your stuff local. I'll check that out when I'm ready. Funds are still low with the tractor purchase this year. Thanks again. Kent
