First Day on the 3010

I've known of these two,but not sure of any others.History tells that the town was named after an Indian Tribe that was settled on the bluffs of the Grand River, where the town is located.

All the KK tillers I've seen have the slip-clutch,and a VERY healthy looking gearbox also.I would buy one in a second.I currently own an Agri-Tec tiller...POS. Only has 4 tines per flange, shear pin, which will snap in hard soil,no rocks or sticks. And is too light, just bounces around on top of the ground, wont break sod up worth a darn.

Mike,

Thanks for the specific info. I believe I have narrowed my choice to KK 60" and a spanish import called Agric(56"). I believe either of these will cover my tire width so offset capability is not really needed. Both come with slip clutch and cost in the $1000 to $1100 dollar range. The KK is from TRACTOR SUPPLY COMPANY about an hours drive and the Agric is from a local farm tractor and implement dealer(10 minutes). The dealer says he has sold the Agric/WAC line for years and parts would not be a problem. I am leaning toward the KK name but would kind of like to begin a working relationship with the dealer(New Holland). I think I am going to pick up the KK after work today unless somebody has a compelling reason to opt for the foreign Agric tiller.
