I traded in my 3016 in on a 4035 and couldn't be happier, the extra lift capacity and lift height was what I was after. My only real complaint is the steering wheel seems very low and it doesn't telescope.

Also has anyone ever heard of this Brand of logging winch "boss". I picked it up used and fixed a couple cracked welds along with spool pawl was bent. I can't imagine not having a winch. It really saves the tractor.

Good looking rig. Best of luck with it.

That is a great looking set up. Two things stand out. I would have to have ag tires and insulation under the upstairs room. Looking at -8 degrees in Dayton Ohio. My fire place is really getting it tonight making heat out of the emerald ash bore killed trees.

Welcome to the forum. Never heard of Boss winches. Looks nice, though. I like how the piece on the bottom of the blade approaches horizontal. That would be nice for helping to "scoop" the butt end of logs. I also liked the Stormy-Kromer-Selfie. I'm pretty much never seen without mine on from October through April. Enjoy the new machine.

Thanks for the comments all. I am pretty happy with the winch, it seems like a very similar design to a farmi. I gotta weld on a new bracket/saw holder on the side and I'll be happy.
I am originally from Northern Lower Michigan, and used to work out in North Dakota. I picked up my "Stormy" on one of my trips through the UP.
This house is crazy. I love that porch for about 2 months of the year other than that its either to hot or to cold but makes a nice tractor shed.

Never would have equated Georgia and firewood in the same sentence. I guess 14* in Atlanta might spell a need now and again. Good luck with your unit.

I didn't like the "perched" feeling I got with my tractor which is your old tractor. Plus I'd have to duck my head when entering the garage. I built a new seat pan an inch and a half lower than the original which remedied the situation.
