First good snow of the year

Well we got our first good snow of the year in central Illinois. I went out and plowed out our driveways and a couple of our neighbors and then about an hour later the wind picked up and blew it all back in. I guess I can go out tomorrow and do it all over again. I don't know what it is about plowing snow but I have always enjoyed it. I enjoy boating more though.

755, I just started to plow snow with my tractor this year, and even do I only had the chance to go out once, I enjoyed every minute of it, and I don't think I'm about to get bored of it anytime soon /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif...cag

Well, I'm ready to clear snow here in Massachusetts. They are forecasting 10 inches tomorrow. It has been so cold that the slush in the chute from last week is still frozen solid so I've driven it into teh garage overnight to thaw

The official tally was 10" in KC, but it looks like well more than a foot to me in my yard.........

Our first significant snowfall, today and it's a Nor'Easter.
Plowed 5" about 3hrs ago, ...but the wind has erased it.
Expected to stop in another hour, so I'll be back outdoors
to finish the remaining 8".
It sure is restful laying back and watching the snow & Feeding
the woodstove.

I went out and replowed everything today. They are saying we could get some more Saturday night. I don't remember getting this much in Illinois for quite some time.

....and it's only early december!!!
I have about 12" to move tomorrow.. or maybe I'll stay inside painting and loading wood in the stove... good idea...
