I have found that with decreasing strength, balance etc., one has to practice more methodical movement, focus and concentration on the task at hand to avoid injury.
I am particularly aware of this when doing inherently dangerous activities; in my case , logging.
There are numerous areas of danger when working in the woods; falling trees in thick cover, wading through piles of uneven slash, trimming limbs, etc.
Without great attention it is just too easy to get hurt.
I have been hurt in the past, almost solely through inattention. Hence my current modus.
Stay aware to stay safe.
