- 1960 Massey 35, New Holland L555 Skidsteer, Komatsu D21-A5 Dozer
Hello Everybody!
I've been gleaning information from this great forum for at least 4-5 years, and finally had time to join up. I'm just outside of Charlotte, NC, sitting on 18 beautiful acres of woods. I'm a mechanical engineer in my spare time, and the rest of my days are spent playing with tractors and chainsaws (or did I get that backwards). Anyway, I bought the land about 5 years ago, cleared and graded the housesite, and built a simple garage apartment to live in, completed in December 2011. Along the way I collected a 1960 Massey Ferguson TO35 (which I somewhat restored), a 70's model Komatsu D21-A5 Dozer with a 6 way blade, and a New Holland L555 skidsteer with a 4 in 1 bucket. Of course there was a lot of other little pieces of equipment along the way, but those are the highlights.
Lately I've been doing a lot of research on pole buildings, which keep leading me to this forum, and I wanted to be able to view pictures, make comments, and get input on my project. The plan is to nestle a 34x40 pole building down in the woods. It will be enclosed and have a concrete floor.
Thats about it for now, I'll be posting a thread about the building here soon.
